This week is incredibly crazy. We have finally been able to walk into our buildings at work and attempt to set up our rooms. There is still a lot of construction happening. Sinks to be completed floors to be polished. Floors to be laid. Bookshelves to be painted. Boxes to be unpacked and put away. Plus two adorable two year old birthdays to plan and attend. Oh and a wedding shower and bachelorette party. To top it all off I was supposed to have chemo today.
As much as I'd like to figure out my next step in this great cancer journey, I can hold off for a few weeks. Thanks to a very low blood count I am able to do just that. I went in for my check up and to receive my fourth chemo, but two of my counts were too low. So I get to bump it back two weeks. Hopefully that will build up my counts again. After this fourth round I will have a scan, before Oct. 7, which will tell us what our next step will be.
So right now I am just hanging in limbo on the cancer front, but living the rest of my life to the fullest. I am pretty exhausted right now, but I am alive to see my boys celebrate two years! Plus I feel a whole lot better than I did on the first birthdays!
